i want friday.
this week has been good so far. going kind of slow, but, I don't want time to go by too fast.
In CAP we did pretty well on our project, 89, considering 2 of the 4 group members contributed nothing to the project, I'd say Ariel and I did pretty well. We finished watching Shawshank Redemption today. What a good movie.
Everything looks like an ice skating rink. I'll probably go take some photos in a little while.
Tonight after working I had the Polish Exchange meeting. I might be getting a guy, not sure. Either way it's going to be a lot of fun.
In other news:
Ohio University has accepted me, yes! Now i just need to get into the Viscom Photojournalism program. Hopefully that will go well!!

mist.
lot's of it tonight. I got back a little bit ago from riding my bike through my neighborhood in the darkness/mist/rain. It was absolutely wonderful and made me feel full of life. My water bottle kept flying off of my bike, but it was okay.
this week has been long and boring and filled with a whole lot of nothing, and it's only Tuesday night. sweet.
my aunt's wedding was this past Sunday, i was the hired ($) photographer. It was pretty cool. Good learning experience. The only thing I hate is seeing adults drunk out of their minds. A few people were falling all over the place. Not too good, but, what can you do? Nothing really. The upcoming weekend is going to be another wedding, Momma Mac is getting married and I am the photog for that. It is going to be crazy fun.

Alex and I have been talking a lot about the upcoming break and the things that we plan to do. It's exciting to think that everyone is coming home again. The plans include, East Mountain Road hiking, biking, and sledding (if there's snow). It's going to be awesome. I really can't wait. We are also planning a trip with a bunch of people up to Canada this summer. That is going to be great. I am so psyched thinking about it!
Hmm....what else? Not too much. I haven't really been focusing on homework and school. I get everything done, I just don't really focus on a lot of it. I love Asian Studies class still. I've been learning a lot from it. Tomorrow we have a quiz on the map, I think we have around 4o countries and their capitals to fill in. Cool. I know 'em well.

it's snowing
a lot. since 12 pm, I think.
Hmm... The week has been pretty good. A little stressful, some big projects are due on Friday. I sure hope we can get them done.
I got a pretty good amount of stuff accomplished tonight. I went to Borders because I can't concentrate when I am at my house, or in the quiet. You would think it would be the other way around, but no.
Here are some things that I forgot to mention...
November 29: Cooking for Multicultural Studies class at Gabbie's house. Drove to Shoprite and then to see Rob at work. It went well, but not so much after we found out that some kids didn't have one of the ingredients and they needed and used alternate, incorrect items. Ugh.

November 30th and December 1st: Here's some more Amish photos. I really can't express what a great experience it was. Amanda is writing a story about me for the lamp. That should be interesting.

December 3rd: Shaved Dale's head at my house. How my house came to be the place to get your head shaved, I do not know. But, whoever wants it done, let me know, I got the toolz. After the head shaving we hung out and then headed over to the Big Wing Wah on 206. It was quite delicious. Then we explored Cost Cutters and took fun pictures like these...

Afterwards, Dale and I dropped off Jenni at her power-less house. We then decided to brave the freezing windy weather and took some pretty sweet night photos. It was really, really nice. I've said it before, but don't really know where I would be without my friends.
December 4th: Worked at Borders with Becca and Mr. Khoudja. This was my second time, and we were there wrapping presents to raise money for the Polish exchange program. I can actually wrap now. Woo! There are some people I just love being around. It's nice to find someone who you can talk to for a long long time. People are good.
Finally, today. I've been working on my Asian Studies video for a few hours. I took this picture of Diana today (thank you Diana). She let me dress her up. I like how it came out.
Here are some other random photos from today...

Saturday, December 1st 2007.
December today, wow. Time is flying.
Very interesting weekend so far. amazing experiences. picked up Nancy at seven at the market, drove 2 hours to her town, slept, woke up before the sun, did laundry (pictures to come), ate breakfast, walked around the farm, played with Marvin (4 year old adorable amish child), no electricity, ate lunch, read newspapers, did all the dishes, cleaned a horse and buggy, milked a cow, made 2 types of cookies, ate more wonderful food (dessert after every meal, even breakfast), played with sheila, the dog, and then, got lost driving home. I wish I could have stayed another day, I got some pretty sweet photos, but it was very difficult, they didn't want their picture taken, besides marvin, and when I had my camera out, they watched me like a hawk. Oh well, this summer I am going to see if they will let me stay for a week.
Tonight I got home and went over to the neighbors Christmas?!?!? party for a little bit, then hung out with Bruce and Tim, which was interesting and fun (to say the least). I am home now, falling asleep at my computer, and plans for tomorrow are going to Bucks semi-early and then going on an adventure with Dale. Woo!
I didn't use the new 50 at all this weekend, they wouldn't really let me take any portrait pictures, besides one or two, so it wasn't really worth it. The 17-35 was marvelous, I know what is on my list of lenses-to-get! (Thank you Tyler).
I'll post more of the few quality pictures that I did manage to get later on some time, but here is one...
That is Marvin. He is my favorite Amish person, ever.
