Three cheers for my photo skills in 2006!

Happy, sad, happy, sad, happy. Mostly ready for this quarter to be over and winter to come to an end. I rode my bike around tonight and I wasn't cold. We sat down by the river for a while, it was dark and peaceful.

My dad came to Athens to visit for the weekend. We ended up exploring a bunch of different wonders of the hocking hills area. It was a good weekend and a good break from school. This quarter of school is on its last stretch and I couldn't be happier. I am ready to go home for a while!

For Valentines Day I took some photos at a Flower Shop in Athens.

(That is sparkling cider, I assure you of this.)

Jim and I threw a 'Surprise' Party in my dorm the other night. Surprise because only a few people besides us knew about what was going on. We spent a few hours blowing up 300 balloons to fill the tiny space that is my room. We made everyone show up at the same time and it's safe to say that they had a good time!

School is just eh right now. Photo stuff is okay, but my inspiration is struggling. I found a few leads tonight, and I think they are going to help me out. Focus focus focus. It's what I need to do. But! I would rather plan spring break/summer road trips any day.

It's 11:30 pm and we are in the library. I've been looking at old blog posts and it is definitely weird the way things have progressed. I second guessed myself over and over about coming out here to Ohio. Now it's been 5 months. Ay!

The past weekend was a lot of fun, Jim and I got a chance to leave Athens for the day. I froze my toes off, but all is good.

I miss my friends at home. There's a lot of stuff going on that I wish I could be there for. Can't this school be nearer to New Jersey? I might be a little homesick, but I know that I will be there soon.
